The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: One can get liberation by seriously discharging devotional service unto Me and thereby hearing for a long time about Me or from Me. By thus executing one’s prescribed duties, there will be no reaction, and one will be freed from the contamination of matter.
Purport
Śrīdhara Svāmī comments in this connection that by association with material nature alone one does not become conditioned. Conditional life begins only after one is infected by the modes of material nature. If someone is in contact with the police department, that does not mean that he is a criminal. As long as one does not commit criminal acts, even though there is a police department, he is not punished. Similarly, the liberated soul is not affected, although he is in the material nature. Even the Supreme Personality of Godhead is supposed to be in association with material nature when He descends, but He is not affected. One has to act in such a way that in spite of being in the material nature he is not affected by contamination. Although the lotus flower is in association with water, it does not mix with the water. That is how one has to live, as described here by the Personality of Godhead Kapiladeva (animitta-nimittena sva-dharmeṇāmalātmanā).
One can be liberated from all adverse circumstances simply by seriously engaging in devotional service. How this devotional service develops and becomes mature is explained here. In the beginning one has to perform his prescribed duties with a clean mind. Clean consciousness means Kṛṣṇa consciousness. One has to perform his prescribed duties in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. There is no necessity of changing one’s prescribed duties; one simply has to act in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. In discharging Kṛṣṇa conscious duties, one should determine whether, by his professional or occupational duties, Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is satisfied. In another place in the Bhāgavatam it is said, svanuṣṭhitasya dharmasya saṁsiddhir hari-toṣaṇam: everyone has some prescribed duties to perform, but the perfection of such duties will be reached only if the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Hari, is satisfied by such actions. For example, Arjuna’s prescribed duty was to fight, and the perfection of his fighting was tested by the satisfaction of Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa wanted him to fight, and when he fought for the satisfaction of the Lord, that was the perfection of his professional devotional duty. On the other hand, when, contrary to the wish of Kṛṣṇa, he was not willing to fight, that was imperfect.
If one wants to perfect his life, he should discharge his prescribed duties for the satisfaction of Kṛṣṇa. One must act in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, for such action will never produce any reaction (animitta-nimittena). This is also confirmed in Bhagavad-gītā. Yajñārthāt karmaṇo ’nyatra: all activities should be performed simply for Yajña, or the satisfaction of Viṣṇu. Anything done otherwise, without the satisfaction of Viṣṇu, or Yajña, produces bondage, so here it is also prescribed by Kapila Muni that one can transcend material entanglement by acting in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, which means seriously engaging in devotional service. This serious devotional service can develop by hearing for long periods of time. Chanting and hearing is the beginning of the process of devotional service. One should associate with devotees and hear from them about the Lord’s transcendental appearance, activities, disappearance, instructions, etc.
There are two kinds of śruti, or scripture. One is spoken by the Lord, and the other is spoken about the Lord and His devotees. Bhagavad-gītā is the former and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam the latter. One must hear these scriptures repeatedly from reliable sources in order to become fixed in serious devotional service. Through engagement in such devotional service, one becomes freed from the contamination of māyā. It is stated in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam that hearing about the Supreme Personality of Godhead cleanses the heart of all contamination caused by the influence of the three modes of material nature. By continuous, regular hearing, the effects of the contamination of lust and greed to enjoy or lord it over material nature diminish, and when lust and greed diminish, one then becomes situated in the mode of goodness. This is the stage of Brahman realization, or spiritual realization. In this way one becomes fixed on the transcendental platform. Remaining fixed on the transcendental platform is liberation from material entanglement.
This process of hearing and chanting is the way we can freed from the influence of material nature. The practice of devotional service works but we need to follow the process. We have to hear a LOT about KRSNA and alligning one's work to serve Krsna. Give away the fruit of your work to Krsna, because when you give away your fruit you feel a pinch and we get realization. So this verse shows practically how by following the devotional practices, we will get out of this material world and we will realize we are not this body but are this soul. Have a 100 year plan.
Hearing and Chanting is not a passive process but an active process. We have to give full attention to the hearing. Surround ourselves with mature people because they know what anarthas look like and be open to correcting your anarthas. Anarthas need to be opened up and confront them so we can fix them.
When somebody is fixed in KC then things change. If we feel we have a backup plan then we waver and we then go back to enjoy the material world, it's embarassing, we waste our time. So be fixed in Devotional practice.
Hearing in general is very good, if we are absorbed by reading yourself, that's good. When we are in association with devotees, brings up questions and that is the best. When we hear and chant deeply, we get more questions because there is no limit to the philosophy and pastimes of Krsna.
If we keep spiritually strong by being regulated, hearing and chanting we won't fall victim to Maya. KC is converting lust into love.
There is only time between us now and getting liberated from this material world, we only need to stick to the plan and follow the process.

Yatra to Gambhira and Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya's House
Every person keeps his treasure somewhere and this is Kashi Misra's treasure where he kept Mahaprabhu.
Another meaning is something very deep, grave - Gambhira: Gamane Bhiyam - Whenever that thought comes then it's Gambhira afraid of Krsna going. This is a difficult place because this is a very deep place. Journey of the heart through the Katha. Something which is relevant in your life. Mahaprabhu locked himself for 12 years and cried cried cried.
Two purposes of Mahaprabhu's apperance in this word.
1. Internal Purpose () - To relish to taste the mood of separation which Radharani experienced.
2. External Purpose(Bahiranga Karan) - To give Raganuga bhav or give Braj prem.
6th verse of CC - 3 reasons why Krsna comes as Mahaprabhu?Krsna had some greed, he's rasika shekhar crest jewel of Rasikas, but he couldn't understand the love of Radharani? The devotees aspiration is they become greater than God. The proof is Mahaprabhu, he's God but He want's to be a devotee as devotee is having more fun than Him. He wanted to understand what Radharani is feeling. They were not fulfilled in Vrindavan or in Mayapur but fulfilled in Jagannatha Puri Dhaam.
Loki nahi dekhi aichi, no one has ever heard in any scripture or seen the symptoms what Mahaprabhu experienced here in Gambhira. Sometimes blood was coming out of his body, water like syringes from his eyes, sometimes he would rub his head on the wall and He would go mad in love of Krsna.
Udhava Kyari - Radharani had a talk with the Bumblee Uddhavji - She was transcendentally mad. She was mad in love for Krsna. Who's really crazy? There is a fine line between ecstacy and madness. Srimati Radharani had become divinely mad for Krsna. Krsna wanted a taste of that divine madness.
Why did Mahaprabhu come back to Puri and not stay in Vrindavan? In the Bhakti Ratnakar, by Narahari Cakravarti. Mahaprabhu, He was staying at Imli Taal. He was doing Raslila at Vamsivata and then Radharani left the Raslila in the middle and she was the heroine of the Rasalila. Krsna also left searching for her and sat below Imli Taal and suddenly His blacking complexion changed to Golden thinking about Krsna, 500 years ago Mahaprabhu sat down under Imli Taal and was chanting Krsna. We are followers of Radha and to please Radha we are chanting Krsna. Under the Imli taal, Gaurasundar became Shyama Sundar and He thought I came here to taste the nectar as a devotee, mood of separation and now I've become Krsna. So He had to a place 2 opposites in 1 container - had to be Vrindavan and not Vrindavan. He had to go to a place which didn't have - 3 things: Vrindavan forest, Govardhan hill and Yamuna not found. It couldn't be Vrindavan because is was the place of Sambhog - feelings of Union so He can't feel the feelings of separation. So He had to go to Vrindavan but not Vrindavan. This place is decribed by Sanatana Gosvami - You go to Puri - You will find Jagannatha, Vrindavan forest, Govardhan Hill and Yamuna. Puri is Gupt Vrindavan, separate compartment of Vrindavan. Here He could experience Radharani's mood. This is university of Braj Prem.
1. Puri Mandir - Organized religion, it has problems but it is necessary. Mahaprabhu went 3 times a day and it was necessary.
2. Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya's house -
3. Gambhira - 3rd classroom in the university of Braj Prem.He used to stay here at Gambhira.
Hence we should organize organized religion and also go for Yatra and go to Gambhira, We all need to have a Gambhira in our life. The Gupt sthali.
24 With Saci Mata and got married., 6 - Sanyas travelling and preaching,6 - at Puri different program to cultivate all the intimate Gosvamis Training his Luitenants, 12 - locked himself up in Gambhira by himself.
Grahasta ashram, Then do Preaching, Then in life go deeper with intimate devotees to nourish them in deep way, Then go deep in your own bhajan because we have a long way to go. Our goal is not ananta Nivrithi, not to realize our svaroop, not to go to Radha Krsna but to realize our eternal service to Radha Krsna and the divine couple.
Why did Srimati Radharani leave the Raslila?
- Because Krsna was giving same importance to all gopis, but this answers are not satisfying.
- Unhappy because this is like Kichri, this won't give topmost pleasure to Krsna. Hence she went to Chandrasarovar which gave Krsna the most pleasure.
Mayapur - Srivas Angam is the Raslila (Maha Maha Panchayati Ras)
Panchayati Ras at Vamshi vat/Chandra Sarovar (Private Ras)
So for Mahaprabhu to understand the mood of Radha he wanted to get the mood of Radharani so he came to Puri for his private Raslila.
