Day 2 in Sri Mayapur Dhaam

Today devotees followed HG Vaisesika prabhu's footsteps by visiting the following places after Mangal Aarti:

1 - Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Samadhi
2 - Yoga Pitha
3 - Srivas Angana

1. Devotees started walking from the Vaisnava Academy in a beautiful procession accompanied by musical instruments and harmonious melodies which continue throughout. Capturing the  attention of the passing by like a transcendental magnet.

This is a day after Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Maharaj's appearance day. The altar and temple are beautifully decorated. HG Vaisesika Prabhu speaks about Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Thakura's vision and attempts of spreading KC throughout the world. His depth in understanding the philosophy and his preaching to westerners in India.
Gurudeva said that we can remember our connection here. The main thing is to follow our Acaryas. Real dharma is to show mercy to the fallen souls by chanting the Holy names of The Lord. Here are some pictures from there:

Radha Kunda

Walking down the stairs towards the lake to get the mercy of these holy water. A local lady offers the water with her joints palms to the devotees so that they don't risk falling due to the slippery stairs. A very touching and simple gesture which devotees'd mentioned in today's evening session.

Then devotees circumambulated Govardhan:

2. Yoga Pita

The birth place of Lord Caitanya. It was found by Bhakti Vinod Thakur who built the temple as well. The Pujari showed the small Deities which were found while constructing the temple and are considered to be the family Deities of Lord Caitanya.
Gurdev said: Lord Caitanya appeared so people can see Him. To transfer ones attention to the real relationships with Krsna. By following His directions, like in the nectar of Instruction, one will achieve the perfection of life. Being in the holy Dham makes one go deeper in his/her own heart.

3 - Srivas Angana

Here Lord Caitanya started the night long kirtans. Many pastimes are connected to this place like the 21 hours Mahaprabhu spent here revealing His own identity to His devotees (prakasha lila). And more kirtan pastimes.
Wherever you are, if you do your service with a pure heart, Krsna will notice it.

Noticeably a deep and happy kirtan also attracted the local residents who joined the chanting with gusto.

In the evening session: there was kirtan, reading a chapter of BG. KB, the story of the Kalia demon. The Lord punishes and is merciful. Only by the Lord's mercy we can get free of the contamination in our hearts. Reflections on the day. Devotees had mentioned the unique happy state of mind they are experiencing with this 24 hours being with Krsna.
