SB class 9.15.11-15 by HG Vaisesika Prabhu Gurudeva
When the royal dynasty, being excessively proud because of the material modes of passion and ignorance, became irreligious and ceased to care for the laws enacted by the brāhmaṇas, Paraśurāma killed them. Although their offense was not very severe, he killed them to lessen the burden of the world.
Purport
The kṣatriyas, or the ruling class, must govern the world in accordance with the rules and regulations enacted by great brāhmaṇas and saintly persons. As soon as the ruling class becomes irresponsible in regard to the religious principles, it becomes a burden on the earth. As stated here, rajas-tamo-vṛtaṁ, bhāram abrahmaṇyam: when the ruling class is influenced by the lower modes of nature, namely ignorance and passion, it becomes a burden to the world and must then be annihilated by superior power. We actually see from modern history that monarchies have been abolished by various revolutions, but unfortunately the monarchies have been abolished to establish the supremacy of third-class and fourth-class men. Although monarchies overpowered by the modes of passion and ignorance have been abolished in the world, the inhabitants of the world are still unhappy, for although the qualities of the former monarchs were degraded by taints of ignorance, these monarchs have been replaced by men of the mercantile and worker classes whose qualities are even more degraded. When the government is actually guided by brāhmaṇas, or God conscious men, then there can be real happiness for the people. Therefore in previous times, when the ruling class was degraded to the modes of passion and ignorance, the brāhmaṇas, headed by such a kṣatriya-spirited brāhmaṇa as Paraśurāma, killed them twenty-one consecutive times.
In Kali-yuga, as stated in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (12.2.13), dasyu-prāyeṣu rājasu: the ruling class (rājanya) will be no better than plunderers (dasyus) because the third-class and fourth-class men will monopolize the affairs of the government. Ignoring the religious principles and brahminical rules and regulations, they will certainly try to plunder the riches of the citizens without consideration. As stated elsewhere in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (12.1.40):
asaṁskṛtāḥ kriyā-hīnā
rajasā tamasāvṛtāḥ
prajās te bhakṣayiṣyanti
mlecchā rājanya-rūpiṇaḥ
Being unpurified, neglecting to discharge human duties properly, and being influenced by the modes of passion (rajas) and ignorance (tamas), unclean people (mlecchas), posing as members of the government (rājanya-rūpiṇaḥ), will swallow the citizens (prājas te bhakṣayiṣyanti). And in still another place, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (12.2.7-8) says:
evaṁ prajābhir duṣṭābhir
ākīrṇe kṣiti-maṇḍale
brahma-viṭ-kṣatra-śūdrāṇāṁ
yo balī bhavitā nṛpaḥ
prajā hi lubdhai rājanyair
nirghṛṇair dasyu-dharmabhiḥ
ācchinna-dāra-draviṇā
yāsyanti giri-kānanam
Human society is naturally grouped into four divisions, as stated in Bhagavad-gītā (cātur-varṇyaṁ mayā sṛṣṭaṁ guṇa-karma-vibhāgaśaḥ). But if this system is neglected and the qualities and divisions of society are not considered, the result will be brahma-viṭ-kṣatra-śūdrāṇāṁ yo balī bhavitā nṛpaḥ: the so-called caste system of brāhmaṇa, kṣatriya, vaiśya and śūdra will be meaningless. As a result, whoever somehow or other becomes powerful will be the king or president, and thus the prajās, or citizens, will be so harassed that they will give up hearth and home and will go to the forest (yāsyanti giri-kānanam) to escape harassment by government officials who have no mercy and are addicted to the ways of plunderers. Therefore the prajās, or the people in general, must take to the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, the Hare Kṛṣṇa movement, which is the sound incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Kali-kāle nāma-rūpe kṛṣṇa-avatāra: Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, has now appeared as an incarnation by His holy name. Therefore, when the prajās become Kṛṣṇa conscious, they can then expect a good government and good society, a perfect life, and liberation from the bondage of material existence.
Krsna comes and makes things right. A movement is for to be instruments for the Lord. The way to annihialate the demoniac tendencies of people in this Kali Yuga is to spread the Holy Name everywhere. We are supposed to be agents for the Lord. Only who understands this knowledge from the SB, can we understand the science of KC. It's very hard to get good leaders. The people would be well educated and because they are well educated all people would be able to vote for the good leaders and ensure that the leaders don't go off the rails. Nowadays we see that the people aren't well educated and hence people get elected who aren't very good.
People become affected by the lower modes of material nature and hence KC movement is to train us to become brahmanas. On an individual basis Krsna says we can become purified by following the rules and regulations to become cleansed and by chanting Hare Krsna. When someone has good qualities then they have a good effect on others and when you have the right leaders to teach everyone the KC movement to others then everyone gradually becomes KC.
One person can bring about a big change, by individually us gradually practicing devotional practices we will improve and by practicing direct devotional service we get everything like knowledge etc. Knowledge and reneunciation - basic things of knowldege that we aren't this body but the soul. So, where do we get these principles only by devotional practices and starts with Chanting the mantra. By chanting the HK mantra everything is there. It's hard to behold the form of the Lord, amurtika means without difficulty we can behold the form, if we take the mantra we will soon be able to behold the form of the lord and will be able to see everything.
Pancaratrika codes are very important. Our movement runs on the pancratrika system and the mantra. The whole mantra runs by the codes, the world has the wrong codes and we need to help them not being mislead by spreading the right codes and where is our code book - the SB. This provides the codes to untangle the world codes so that everyone can come to the platform of loving service and happiness which every soul is hankering after.
SB addresses many points - 5th canto if someone practices KC get good qualities. Yes they may have integrity but they will shift because of the influence of the modes of Kali Yuga. If we don't have some solid ground the vedic teachings then the ultimate results is going to be degradation. But even if someone is practising KC and they fall down still SB says they are great souls. Narada muni says so what they take KC and for some reason they failed so what they are still great souls it's better that being in the material world and getting a big bag. If they fall all they have to do is just start back from where they left off and soon they will come back to the beautiful KC path just by the devotional practices. There will be fewer exemplary leaders and followers, but if you have one moon it's more valuable than many many starts. It's very hard to produce the many moons, but even if they are informally trying to follow the dev services imperfectly still they are good in KC. In Baag Bazaar BSST says there should be a GBC body there are ways to be inventive and hold the leaderships.
In organizational development and in other there are phases, if the principles are sound and we have verified that we are getting the best knowledge from SB then the practical thing is to reinforce our principles of devotional practices individually and as a group and to understand Krsna's literary incarnation is the SB. We get an idea and it doesn't hold properly but when the time is right and we have the right training then we apply it. Even our acharyas said 64 dev items are good, then our acharyas have said at least 5 and then they say at least 1 chant HK mantra.
Our movement will work and it will work and it is the Kali Yuga but we need to have patience that it will happen.

Jagannatha Dasa Babaji Samadhi Mandir
We sang this beautiful song -
Bhaktivinod Thakur has written this song ”Ohe Vaisnava Thakura”. The official Name for this song is ”Bhajana Lalasa Song 7". This song is taken from the book Saranagati. Bhaktivinoda Thakura prays to the pure devotees to bless him so that that he can control his senses. He prays that he should continue having faith in Hare Krishna Mantra. He pleads that let Krishna be his. This can be possible only by the mercy of a pure Vaishnava.
(1)
ohe! vaisnaba thakura, doyara sagara,
e dase koruna kori'
diya pada-chaya, sodho he amaya,
tomara carana dhori
(2)
chaya bega domi', chaya dosa sodhi',
chaya guna deho' dase
chaya sat-sańga, deho' he amare,
bosechi sańgera ase
(3)
ekaki amara, nahi paya bala,
hari-nama-sańkirtane
tumi krpa kori', sraddha-bindu diya,
deho' krsna-nama-dhane
(4)
krsna se tomara, krsna dite paro,
tomara sakati ache
ami to' kańgala, 'krsna' 'krsna' boli',
dhai tava pache pache
(1) O venerable Vaisnava. O ocean of mercy, be merciful unto your servant. Give me the shade of your lotus feet and purify me. I hold on to your lotus feet.
(2) Teach me to control my six passions; rectify my six faults, bestow upon me the six qualities, and offer unto me the six kinds of holy association.*
(3) I do not find the strength to carry on alone the sankirtana of the holy name of Hari. Please bless me by giving me just one drop of faith with which to obtain the great treasure of the holy name of Krsna.
(4) Krsna is yours. You have the power to give Him to me. I am simply your servant running behind you shouting, "Krsna! Krsna!"
When you are able to serve a pure devotee, the most powerful is the service without motive, service with no motive. When the heart of a pure devotee opens then the heart of the rose apple juice opens and then all the mercy flows. When someone is a pure devotee the words coming out from their mouth changes your life like the saffron mercy particles. So why can't I buy directly from Krsna? Not fine, it's Krsna's idea you get from your distributors. We sell through our distributors. Krsna is like that, pure devotees. The devotees carry not just Krsna in their heart but also love of Krsna also so they become walking places of Krsna. Krsna said to Yudustira you are a walking pilgrimage site. When the devotee come to the pilgrimage site they acutally clean it up. When they bathe in the ganga, Radha Kunda they purifly the Holy Places, because they clean up the Holy Place. Tirthat is the bridge pure devotee is the bridge to the spiritual world.
I cannot offer to you Krsna enough gratitude because you appear as the antaryami. Krsna says if you sincerly try to reach me and serve me then I will guide you and externally my spiritual master will guide me. Uddhava says even if I have a lot of time Krsna I won't be able to pay you back Krsna. When all the vaishnavas know that there is a param vaishnav then we serve those param vaishnavs and hence here at this beautiful place Jagannatha baba das maharaj we pray at his lotus feet to give us those saffron particles.
HG Rajendrananda Pr
BVT had a vision of where Mahaprabhu was born like yogapita and he took his Gurudeva Jaganntha Das babaji maharaj there and as soon as he arrived, he just jumped up 6 feet in the air and start dancing and chanting the Holy Name.
We chant the Holy Names of Pancattava because they don't take offense, but because we have so much baggage we need to take the shelter of the pure devotees and they apprach Krsna.
Jagannath Das Babaji maharaj gave this mantra of panchatattva to everyone. Any place an acarya sits down to do his bhajan, that place is permeated with their mercy everywhere.
HG Madhavananda Pr
Jagannatha Das babaji and Gaura Kishore das babaji, when someone is on that platform they are on a different platform, the lord in their heart is prompting them what to do. The 6 goswamis were preparing preachers, Jiva Gosvami sent his 3 devotees go and preach. Shyamandana, Narottam das thakurs and Srinivas acharya were the first 3 preachers after Mahaprabhu, then came Gaura Kishore, Jagannatha Das and BVT. Only BVT came out to preacher. In any movement it's very important some to be a preacher and some as the knowledge. We should never invalidate such devotees as their fruit of their bhajan is the preachers like BVT, BSST and SP.
So the preachers sometimes don't have scholarly and scholars sometimes have fruits of their bhajan as preachers. This place we want to hear about Jagannatha Das babaji so we can attract some of his blessings and then help his disciple's followers BVT.
In 1880, BVT met JDBM and he took many valuable instructions in 1883, when JDBM was staying her BVT confirmed the birth place of Mahaprabhu. One of the son of JDBM got some sickness and he rolled in the dust in Mahaprabhu's birthplace and he was cured. BSST was asked to make a calendar. On the order of JDBM BSST created the vaishnava panchika. Gaura Parikshat padyavali JDBM he was alive for 135 years, another account was 147 years of age. He was a very exalted personality.
Brijari lal his servant used to carry him on a basket, one wealthy brahman gave him Rs. 1 and then JDBM said take me back and he gave back the Rs. 1 because it was very heavy for JDBM. They aren't different between SP and JDBM because in heart they are one. They just are directed to Krsna.
When BSST was staying in Baag Bazaar were going for collection and one devotee was giving everything he collected. If I give everything to Krsna and then Krsna will give us because Krsna can digest it and we won't be able to digest it especially from materialistic person because everything needs to be used in Krsna's service.

Translation:
1) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. His superexcellent spiritual body is a
brilliant golden colour. He is incessantly churned by sublime transcendental ecstasies. A tiny fraction of His
mercy is able to deliver all the three worlds.
2) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. His transcendental form
manifests transformations of ecstasy such as faltering of the voice. The mighty sound of His voice chastises
wicked men. His mercy dispels the fear of all that causes repeated birth and death.
3) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. He wears garments the colour of the rays of
the rising sun. The radiance of his beautiful cheeks and nails puts to shame the moon. He takes delight in
uttering the glories of His own transcendental qualities and holy name.
4) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. Streams of ecstatic tears flow from His
lotus eyes. He is ornamented with transformations of ecstasy caused by ever-new loving mellows. His pastimes
of dancing exhibit very slow and graceful movements.
5) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. The nimble movements of His
beautiful dancing feet, adorned by sweetly twinkling anklets, are very pleasing. His soothing brilliant
face surpasses the cooling rays of the moon.
6) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. His wonderful divine form is graced by
a shaven head and adorned with the loincloth of a mendicant, the sannyasa staff and waterpot. Such a form of
His chastises wicked souls and destroys their sins.
7) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. As a householder, His face is surrounded
by locks of dark hair, decorated with the dust of the earth. His excellent lips, which are red like the bimba
fruit, are beautified by their trembling in ecstasy. Upon His forehead He wears brilliant tilak made of
sandalwood paste.
8) I offer my respectful obeisances to the beautiful son of Sri Sacidevi. The glowing beauty of His lotus-petal
eyes surpasses that of the rising sun. His two splendid arms extend down to His knees. His divine body is
dressed in the fashion of an adolescent dancer.
Then we sang this beautiful song:
Bhaktivinod Thakur has written a song “Kali Kukkura Kadan“ and the Official Name for this song is Nama Kirtana (Names of Lord Caitanya ). This song is taken from the book Kalyana Kalpataru (Section: Ucchvasa: Ucchvasa Kirtana Nama Kirtana. Bhaktivinoda Thakura sings the glories of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Different names of Mahaprabhu is mentioned in this song. He is always assembled with His devotees. He delivers everyone from the clutches of maya. He removes fear from each ones heart. He is the husband of the Goddess of Fortune (Madhava), and He is over-flowing with the ecstatic moods and sentiments of Srimati Radharani (Radhabhava-pura).
4) Lord Caitanya is the corrector and purifier of Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya (Sarvabhaumasodhana), and the deliverer of King Prataparudra (Gajapati-tarana), the source of nourishment of Srila Ramananda Raya (Ramananda-posana), and He is a great hero (Vira). He maintains and protects His pure Vaisnava devotees (Suddhabhakta- palana), and He chastises dry speculative knowledge (Suskajnana Tadana). He destroys pretentious and hypocritical devotion (Chalabhakti-dusana), and He is the reservoir of pleasure ( Rama ).
HG Rajendrananda Prabhu
Srimati Vishupriya Devi Dasi was engaged in padasevanam and that helps in rememberance of the Lord. Koladvip - padasevanam. The perfection is when one is fully in the rememberance of the lotus feet of Mahaprabhu is padasevanam. That is the mercy of the Lord. Srivas came here and heard the SB here but the speaker had no bhakti, Devananda Pandit. When Srivas pandit hear the SB, he was like a swan and he just manifested ecstacy. Devananda Pandit gave lot of space to Vrakreshwara pandit for dancing and even though Devananda Pandit committed the offence of throwing Srivas Pandit out due to ecstatic behavior Mahaprabhu said you are pardoned because you gave service to the Vrakreshwar pandit.
Vishnupriya and Lakshmipriya served Mahprabhu in awe and reverance, that is the mood in which we serve Mahaprabhu.
HG Madhavananda Pr
Much like all of us Narottam das thakur never saw Mahaprabhu. After the disappearnce of Mahaprabhu, he was heartbroken. Narottam das thakur thought I must go to Navadwip and Mayapur and he said I have to meet the residents of Navadwip. He was very attractive and everyone followed him. Many just came out to get his darshan.
Oh Mahaprabhu you are so kind, why was I born so far far away from Mahaprabhu, I'm coming here but I'm so unfortunate not to be able to see Mahaprabhu's pastimes.
Narottam Das Thakur saw Gauranga at this place doing ecstatic kirtan and all of a sudden everything disappeared and then he saw everybody was crying, my lord what have I seen.
When we come with exalted vaishnavas to such wonderful places because when you come with wonderful pure vaishnavas, then Krsna might see us. Gaura Lila is going on right now and Narottam Das Thakur saw it. BVT had visions like that. When we come here even if we can't see it with our eyes so we can see if with our ears.
Then we sang the ecstatic - Naach re amar man.
