expand. He is 1 but becomes many for His own pleasure.

Srila Advaita Acarya’s internal purpose of is to
give K to all jiva souls so they can come back Home, back to Godhead.

Advaita Acarya called out in a roar for Krsna to
descend in the form of Mahaprabhu and worshipped with ganga water and tulsi
leaves as he felt compassion for the jiva souls.

This should be our mood – preach to everyone,
give K to everyone

From Narsimha Purana – Since K is easily
obtained by offering patram, pushpan, phalam, toyam + with a LOT OF
DEVOTION/BURNING DESIRE.
Haridas Thakur’s Samadhi– Class by HG MadavaNanda Prabhu
This area is called sat asan road
– place of 7 temples. Skanda purana, Indradyumna maharaj found some strange
people and asked who are you, they were the saptarishis and they wanted to
serve Lord Jagannatha. They asked him if you could bring Jagannatha Mahaprasad.
Deities of Brahma Bharati and many important deities are here satasan road.
This place is Brahananda Bharati,
he was wearing a deer sing and Mahaprabhu didn’t like it. Jagadananda bharati
was right opposite this temple and he brought a sandalwood oil for Mahaprabhu
to honor but Mahaprabhu didn’t want to as He was a sanyasi so Jagadananda broke
the pot here.
Advaita Acarya – He is Maha Visnu
Avatar they all come through the doorway of Ksirodaksayi visnu. From Gaur
Ganesh deepika he is both SadaShiva and Maha Visnu. Kuvera Pandit,he was
worshipping Lord Shiva and Kuvera Pandit said you should become my son after
Shiva was pleased with his worship. Hence he became the son of Nabhi devi and
Kuvera pandit. There is a purpose for Maha Visnu’s coming as Advaita Acarya. He
brings the different aspects of Krsna also. How is it that Maha Visnu who is
strict with rules and regulations, how did He call the most merciful form of
Krsna . There is a reason both internal and external. How is he calling the
combined form of Radha and Krsna by Sada Shiva (Advaita Acarya)
Today, all important temples Madan Mohan, Govind
deo, Gopinath they all go to Gopesvar Mahadev on this day. Maha Visnu joined
with Sada Siva and called Advaita. Gopesvar Mahadev is the chaukidar of Rasa
Lila. When our acaryas want to enter the inner aspects of R and K they go there
and pray. So when K wanted to taste R’s love he had to go to Gopesvar Mahadev
and hence Siva is connected in Advaita Acarya.
Antaranga karan was served
(internal reason) By Gopesvar Mahadev to allow K to enter into R’s mood and
come down through the medium of Ksirodaksyaki Visnu.
What about external reason –
Baharanga Karan? – From Mahaprabhu came rasa and came many rivers. Srota bahi
jaye Advaita Chandra. That river of Gaura rasa (Sankitan movement) Advaita
Chandra is the current of the sankirtan movement.
Advent Of Advaita Chandra – one
more aspect: They were always absorbed in K kirtan. Kuvera Pandit and his wife
saw someone doing vaisnava aparadha. They decided what shall we do? They had a
dream, they saw 2 men – golden complexion and ___ complexion holding hands. The
golden He said you go there to relieve the sufferings of the people there and
you will attract me along with my older brother. At an auspicious moment that other man
entered into nabhi devi’s womb and then as soon as he entered he started
shouting HARIBOL!
Mathur Brahman – Vaishnava
NENDUKA – Advaita Chandra saw him and wanted to punish by invoking sudarshan –
manifested 4 handed form and was very ferocious. As soon as the Mathur brahman
saw him he said please punish me. He was very sorry and said I had bad
association and hence he said I committed a big offence and said please correct
me, please help me. Advaita Acarya said, you have to admit your guilt and have
to go to hell for this. You have to do 3 things:
1. Give
us all sense pleasures
2. Naam
sankirtan
3. Serve
with your heart and soul all the vaisnavas – If you do that then you may be
delivered.
He followed this in Mathura with
grass between his teeth. So he got his forgiveness
of all the vaisnavas but with forgiveness it’s not just enough, we also require
to get anugraha (Please). Example = we borrow money and we lose it, we can say
sorry and get forgiveness but we also need to get the anugraha (please) ex
Daksha had to please Lord Siva even after asking for forgiveness. How to get
anugraha – only by chanting the Holy Name.
External reason = stop vaisnava
aparadha, internal reason to help K enter into R’s pastime through Gopesvar mahadeva
in the form of Mahaprabhu
When we do vaishanava aparadha,
the bhakti lata beej isn’t lost but we just have separation from bhakti for a
very very long time. Anindita hrde tasmi Shastra bhajana chodine. We should
have the right attitude when chastising someone. Example – parents chastising
kids, we should draw the line where we aren’t hurting the super soul but make
sure we are correcting the child correctly. Same way Guru has a right and
obligation to chastise his disciples.
Intention of one’s heart becomes
manifests when we chastise.
What is Vaisnava Aparadha? It’s a
subtle thing, there is a fine line – 6 things which are Vaisnava Aparadha –
Kill a Vaishnava, attack a vaishanav, not be happy to see a Vaishnava,
criticize a devotee, …
If we have ill will or bad attitude
or envy, anger towards another devotee that’s Vasinava aparadha. Also envious
or dislike towards anybody not even a devotee – it dampens our progress in
spiritual life and keeps us attached to the material world. That is a red flag
and we should always correct ourselves.
We can have the prayer to Haridas
Thakur, Nityananda, Advaita Acarya – that we are attracted to hear about others
faults, then we should pray to them to help us clear out this tendency. False
ego is attracted to the stool but the atma is truly attracted to the Super soul
and we should have a red flag go up when we notice ourselves that we like
hearing other’s faults and when we notice that the tendency with go away.
Haridas Thakur had got very old
and he shared with Mahaprabhu that we isn’t able to complete his rounds and he
is also having concern that Mahaprabhu will leave him before him. So Mahaprabhu
did Maha sankirtan and there He glorified Haridas Thakur. That is the solution
to vaishanava aparadha – glorify the devotees.
At that time Haridas Thakur put
Mahaprabhu’s feet on his chest and took the dust of all vaishanvas on his head
and then he just started to chant “ SRI KRSNA CHAITANYA….SRI KRSNA CHAITANYA”
He left his body. Then Mahaprabhu picked up Haridas thakur’s body, danced,
bathed in the ocean and personally, with his hands he started to dig a hole and put his body there. Whoever
takes bath in the ocean will get love of God.
Don’t worry about all these small
material things – getting a car, getting a house, getting this getting that….JUST
BHAKTI YOGA is all what you need. Attentively remember Krsna, Crying for Krsna.
What will we do when Gurudev leaves,
we all want to be with Gurudeva. Same way Haridas Thakur was feeling so sad
thinking Mahaprabhu will leave before him. Puri is place of separation,
Vipralambha kshetra, actually it’s twice vipralambha kshtra. At Haridas Thakur’s
Samadhi we want to cry for our Guru, Vaisnavas.
We can’t replace our Guru, same
way you can’t replace Haridas Thakur, You can’t replace SP. Hence there is only
one naam acarya = Haridas Thakur. Guru is to be served = We shouldn’t feel that
Guru is here to serve me. Guru is not an ordinary person, He is never dead. If
you think he’s dead then you are dead, you are brain dead. We should always
experience separation from Guru. Separation is also so much love. April 3, 1969
to Brhamananda pr – about separation from Guru = meeting and separation is like
flowing tide of river. Separation is eternal and meeting is also eternal. We
have to get permission from Gurudev.
3 types of bahir mukya sisya:
1. Sneha
salita. Devotees who want affection from Guru.
2. Guru
Giri = Makes a business of the Guru. He makes an advertisement of disciple of
Guru even though we might be a big badmaash.
3. visayi
siyasis – 2 types of visayi sisyas = anutap siyasas (Sisyas who lament that
they can’t keep up their vows and by the fire of that it will help the lust go
away) other is Na-anutap sisyas (Sisyas who are just making a show of their
bhakti) and Devotee who can’t control his senses.
A good disciple is one who thinks
– If I can see Gurudev all the time everything will be good and when everything
is good, then I can’t make progress. But if I can’t see Gurudev then I cry and
I cry and in that separation I will be able to make progress, because Gurudev
is Krsna’s representative.
When your near and dear ones
leave it’s not the time for philosophy but it’s time to cry. It’s the feeling
in our heart, the philosophy is there so we can understand. When vaisnavas
leave or separation, it’s time to cry and not to have philosophy so we can have
feeling in our heart.
Class by Gurudeva
Glorification of Haridas Thakur. He
was chanting 192 rounds a day (64*3). Seeing this the local majistrate was
envious as he knew Haridas Thakur is better than him and he arranged in the
city to have him fall down by sending a prostitude there and then he thought
his envy will be relieved. He had another person to record the activity so
there is a witness for his fall down. When the prostitude when there Haridas
Thakur said something very practical – sure I will be fully with you but as
soon as I finish my rounds. So for 3 nights continuously sitting by him, her
heart changed and she shared her heart and took shelter from Haridas Thakur –
shaved her head, sat by tulsi plant and chanted her rounds.
One thing to remember we will
always have seductions in this material world. However when various temptations
comes we should follow this practice – not right now, as soon as I attentively
chant my rounds and my prescribed vows then I will do it. But as we keep
growing spiritually, we become so involved in our vows that we don’t have time
for these urges or what to say things to maintain our body.

– 17th chapter : Gurudev explained the 11th verse by
giving us the example of the wives of the brahmanas how after they left their
husbands came to the forest and how Krsna asked them to return as He explained
that love for Krsna doesn’t only come by physical proximity but also
worshipping the deities. When they returned the Brahamans weren’t very angry
but were happy to see their wives. They also were very sad about their vedic
sacrifices and wanted to follow their wives to Krsna; The wives of the
brahmanas had some rules and regulations but wives of the brahmanas had spontaneous
love for K and they just left everything and ran to see K.

When we are in the dhaam, all these experiences
we have leave impressions in our heart and these will transform us to take us
back home back to Godhead.
